A chi non è capitato di smarrire un oggetto di uso comune, proprio quello che avevamo fino ad un attimo prima sotto gli occhi? Un orologio, un paio di occhiali, le chiavi della macchina, la macchina stessa. A Guido capita di perdere la figlia di otto anni. Guido è un quarantenne che pensa solo alle donne, alle macchine e alla bella vita. Una sera, proprio mentre si prepara per una serata con una nuova fiamma, la ex moglie, Silvia, gli piomba in casa affidandogli Arianna, la figlia, per la notte, ha un problema improvviso, dice, e tu che sei il padre per una volta nella vita te ne devi occupare.. Guido non ha scampo: deve cancellare l’appuntamento galante e, forse per la prima volta nella sua vita, suo malgrado, fare il padre. Con riluttanza, prova a prendersi cura della piccola, senza grande successo. Tutte quelle domande e la curiosità della bambina sulla sua vita lo imbarazzano, e poi lui non è abituato ad avere una femmina per casa, almeno non di quell’età. Beh, il fatto è che proprio quando Guido ha ritrovato il cacciavite gli è sparita la bambina… Abbiamo a che fare con una persona sbadata, uno di quelli che abitualmente dimentica le cose? No, non è così, Guido è un razionale, un professionista, pratico, deciso, affidabile. Dapprima pensa ad uno scherzo, poi immagina che Arianna se ne sia andata, ma dove? In breve Guido arriva ad immaginare le cose più serie o spaventose per quanto improbabili. E’ naturale che il primo passo, appurato che la soluzione non è sotto mano, sia chiamare la polizia. Dave is a simple, shy, lonely country guy with a passion for photography and a foot fetish, possessed by beauty. Mr. Brown is a middle-aged handicapped black man in a wheel chair. He endlessly listens to music, reads books and looks out the window to oversee the roofs of neighboring houses in Harlem. Nothing breaks his monotonous loneliness except for the visits of two helpers - a young Russian woman-social worker and a young black man-home attendant – who merely do their duties. But in Mr. Brown’s imagination they all have a passionate affair. The home attendant loves the social worker but is very jealous of her because she is madly in love with Mr. Brown, and Mr. Brown himself is in love with the home attendant-boy. These “relationships” develop gradually over continuous visits of two helpers. And in Mr. Brown’s world their passion is expressed through the dance. Unable to withstand the energy of love and possession Mr. Brown kills the home attendant and sinks into a prison of his loneliness and wheel chair.

Her ad is picked up by a middle-aged programmer Blake, who after a period of intense correspondence decides to go ahead and apply for a fiancée visa for Tanya. She comes to New York and suddenly becomes very isolated and lonely, but quite eager to make it work. Blake, being busy with his routine, can't give Tanya all the attention she needs and struggles to make a commitment. At the end of the "trial" period he decides to send her back.

“Reincarnation” is a poetic documentary on one of the greatest American artists Isadora Duncan living through her followers at the present time. Mysteriously, after over the century passed from the time she lived, Isadora imposes her art and philosophy on contemporary artists who are compelled to keep doing her movement and preserve her choreography, though it seems to be quite outdated. One of the offspring of Isadora, one of her reincarnations is the founder and artistic director of “Isadora Duncan Dance Foundation” Lori Belilove. Through Lori’s life and work, through the art of her students and company members, through the lines of a theatrical play conceived by Lori, the image and entire persona of Isadora Duncan comes alive.
